At the start of August 2011 I began the Couch to 5K program. I had an overwhelming desire to be one of 'those' runners that I spent so much time envying.

I weighed 111kg, I couldn't run for longer than 60 seconds in one go and the last time I had decided to 'learn to run' I had failed miserably.
